To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eriz Vicente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Arribas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in U.D. Almería SAD's zone, Luis-Miguel Acha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pacho Gómez came out of the goal and Luis-Miguel Acha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Almería SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Aniceto Iniesta came free, but Pacho Gómez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ereinotz Amer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armallones UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ereinotz Amer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pacho Gómez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 62 minutes, Rai Verdeja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U.D. Almería SAD and the Armallones UD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes U.D. Almería SAD got a freekick which was hit by Rai Verdeja. After 63 played minutes, Armallones UD's Xinto Ziguenza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pacho Gómez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Armallones UD reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aniceto Iniesta in the 71st minute of play forced U.D. Almería SAD's goalkeeper Pacho Gómez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis-Miguel Acha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pacho Gómez having to make a save. After 74 played minutes U.D. Almería SAD got a freekick which was hit by Rai Verdeja. When Luis-Miguel Acha came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Armallones UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis-Miguel Acha couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis-Miguel Acha in the 77th minute of play forced U.D. Almería SAD's goalkeeper Pacho Gómez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Platon Andres's late challenge caught a U.D. Almería SAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Platon Andres helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Platon Andres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pacho Gómez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis-Miguel Acha in the 82nd minute of play. Armallones UD's Eriz Vicente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Armallones UD from getting a goal against them. After 88 played minutes, Armallones UD's Crescencio Urruti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pacho Gómez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
