Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jordi Valines started the match with the kick off. If Aiert Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sæþór Högnason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cañas booed when Loma Del Monte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cai Manzano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Loma Del Monte's goal looked a bit too open when Sæþór Högnason came free, but Huly Revuelta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loma Del Monte's Huly Revuelta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Valcareggi in the 22nd minute of play. Sæþór Högnason took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Huly Revuelta. Huly Revuelta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sæþór Högnason in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Huly Revuelta saved Loma Del Monte from getting behind. Alberigo Valcareggi struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Huly Revuelta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cañas. Sæþór Högnason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huly Revuelta having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aiert Ferrer in the 34th minute of play forced Loma Del Monte's goalkeeper Huly Revuelta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aiert Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Huly Revuelta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Marrero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Paquito Dean made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Loma Del Monte's zone, Sæþór Högnason stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Huly Revuelta came out of the goal and Sæþór Högnason tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aiert Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huly Revuelta having to interfere. Huly Revuelta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aiert Ferrer was the one to do the kick off. Huly Revuelta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aiert Ferrer's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Alberigo Valcareggi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Sæþór Högnason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huly Revuelta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cañas fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Cañas's Aiert Ferrer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Aiert Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cañas's supporters rose to their feet, but Aiert Ferrer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huly Revuelta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Loma Del Monte's Huly Revuelta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sæþór Högnason in the 69th minute of play. If Sæþór Högnason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Marrero in the 74th minute of play forced Cañas's goalkeeper Paquito Dean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Reyes hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Alberigo Valcareggi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Loma Del Monte getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cornelio Aznar hit a great ball. With his leg Huly Revuelta managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Cañas's Aiert Ferrer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Paquito Dean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Marrero in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Reyes in the 83rd minute of play forced Loma Del Monte's goalkeeper Huly Revuelta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Aznar in the 84th minute of play forced Cañas's goalkeeper Paquito Dean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sæþór Högnason's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Huly Revuelta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aiert Ferrer in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Huly Revuelta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paquito Dean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Marrero in the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Loma Del Monte's Jordi Valines got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Cañas played a much better game than Loma Del Monte and deserved their victory. The Loma Del Monte players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
