The audience was convinced that Galo Ramis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Briso was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Argi Solano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Altorreal F.C.'s Galo Ramis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Briso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Galo Ramis was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Arturo Urbina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabanal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altorreal F.C. the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Arturo Urbina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Gaitano Beloki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argi Solano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Altorreal F.C.'s Lisandro Quintanilla got a free kick in the 63rd minute.
