After 12 minutes, Toribio Sierra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Figueres AFC and the Arbo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Figueres AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toribio Sierra to maneuver through the defense. Rosario Pantoja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Arbo AFC's Aratz Montes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 22 played minutes Arbo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fagondo Vera. Louis De Paula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Ricoy having to interfere. Aratz Montes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Aratz Montes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Figueres AFC's Ranolfo Rosario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aratz Montes in the 35th minute of play. Eusebio Ricoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis De Paula in the 40th minute of the match. Marco Parra hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Delfino Aznar made a precise shot to the right of Eusebio Ricoy. Arbo AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aratz Montes made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Arbo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Louis De Paula came free, but Eusebio Ricoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Arbo AFC's zone, Delfino Aznar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Ricoy came out of the goal and Delfino Aznar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the game, Aratz Montes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ranolfo Rosario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eusebio Ricoy made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Delfino Aznar sent off a good shot on target. Toribio Sierra kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ranolfo Rosario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosario Pantoja, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
