Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Louis De Paula got the match started through his kick off. Louis De Paula might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zavier Camara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Louis De Paula ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th minute, Tomás Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Figueres AFC's Louis De Paula slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zavier Camara. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Delfino Aznar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Figueres AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delfino Aznar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis De Paula in the 16th minute of play forced Montgat's goalkeeper Zavier Camara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Francisco Infante in the 18th minute of play forced Figueres AFC's goalkeeper Ranolfo Rosario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan-Francisco Infante in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ranolfo Rosario saved Figueres AFC from getting behind. Eneto Pascua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ranolfo Rosario having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Figueres AFC's Toribio Sierra got a free kick in the 29th minute. Niva Barrientos's late challenge caught a Figueres AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niva Barrientos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Niva Barrientos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 minutes of play, Montgat's Eneto Pascua made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ranolfo Rosario was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Montgat getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cordario Patiño hit a great ball. If Delfino Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan-Francisco Infante was the one to do the kick off. If Eneto Pascua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montgat's goalkeeper Zavier Camara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ranolfo Rosario made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Eneto Pascua sent off a good shot on target. If Zelipe Alfaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 87 minutes into the match, Louis De Paula notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Montgat's Zavier Camara. Zavier Camara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Louis De Paula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Zavier Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Montgat walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
