Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tiago Labarra got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, David Bernal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inautzi Zárate. Los Perales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Bernal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Odon Ramiréz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Labarra in the 14th minute of play. Cilio Barrientos kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Carlomagno Arratia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mengibar FC booed when Los Perales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelio Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Damaso Cañadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inautzi Zárate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Polifemo Iniesta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Odon Ramiréz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Labarra hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damaso Cañadas to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Mengibar FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ciano Rico hit a great ball. Tiago Labarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Odon Ramiréz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Tiago Labarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 minutes of play, Los Perales's Egoitz Carballeira made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Odon Ramiréz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oro Amer's late challenge caught a Mengibar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oro Amer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Los Perales's Oro Amer got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute Tiago Labarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odon Ramiréz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When David Bernal came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Mengibar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Bernal couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Cañadas in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inautzi Zárate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A long shot from Cristián Bartumeu in the 79th minute of play was well struck, but Inautzi Zárate made a really good save at the right post. After having played for 81 minutes, David Bernal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mengibar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Bernal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Bernal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Inautzi Zárate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inautzi Zárate was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Damaso Cañadas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 88 minute of play. David Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
