Fabián Dellasierra hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The supporters of El Pedroso booed when Claret was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Gibert didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Pedroso's Cristiano Prieto got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claret's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Jacques Abellan scored to the left of an out of position Gandolfo Macia, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacques Abellan in the 23rd minute of play forced Claret's goalkeeper Gandolfo Macia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Prieto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gandolfo Macia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Jacques Abellan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gandolfo Macia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match El Pedroso got a corner. Claret's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicolao Mata ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Nicolao Mata got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gandolfo Macia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacques Abellan to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Hustaz Canyelles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gandolfo Macia was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of El Pedroso:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Claret:s goal. Cristiano Prieto's late challenge caught a Claret's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. El Pedroso's Nicolao Mata was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gandolfo Macia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Jacques Abellan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute, Jacques Abellan made a precise shot to the right of Gandolfo Macia. Claret's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. There was no doubt that El Pedroso were the better team. El Pedroso's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
