Mota De Altarejos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OKC the free kick. The Mota De Altarejos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmiro Cuervas should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Mota De Altarejos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Maureo Barroso came free, but Delmiro Cuervas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boni Folch made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Barea Vidal sent off a good shot on target. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Mota De Altarejos AFC's Bermudo Pastor got a free kick in the 36th minute. Maureo Barroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Delmiro Cuervas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Cuervas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleón Helguera, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind OKC's goalkeeper Boni Folch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Napoleón Helguera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Cuervas. Mota De Altarejos AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Napoleón Helguera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When Maureo Barroso came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the OKC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maureo Barroso couldn't finish the play. Mota De Altarejos AFC's Barea Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmiro Cuervas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maureo Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
