After 7 played minutes Cádiz CF got a freekick which was hit by Linas Skog. In the 8th minute Salvador Nunez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moncho Etxeberria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Beremundo Escobar made a precise shot to the right of Moncho Etxeberria. Cádiz CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Cádiz CF's Moncho Etxeberria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Nunez in the 13th minute of play. Cádiz CF's attentive Eivind Gulbrandsen managed to snatch the ball when Medardo Vallejo made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. In the 20th match minute, Lleger UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dolfos Garcia to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Batuecas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naike Herrera was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Eustaquio Batuecas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Naike Herrera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Naike Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Batuecas in the 30th minute of the match. A hard shot 34 in the game by Taio Correa from a close distance when the talented Naike Herrera managed to make a qualified save. Lleger UD's players were relieved. Cádiz CF's Eivind Gulbrandsen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Medardo Vallejo in the 39 minute of the game. Medardo Vallejo charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Medardo Vallejo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Lleger UD's Naike Herrera got control of the ball when Taio Correa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 played minutes Cádiz CF got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Batuecas. After the first half Lleger UD were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Taio Correa was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Eustaquio Batuecas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cádiz CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Batuecas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naike Herrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lleger UD's Xacintu Cabezas got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute Taio Correa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naike Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xacintu Cabezas kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Taio Correa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naike Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Batuecas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Naike Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moncho Etxeberria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Nunez, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 88th minute, Lleger UD's Doroteo Saboya ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Moncho Etxeberria. Moncho Etxeberria yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Doroteo Saboya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesús Gabas got free with Moncho Etxeberria in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naike Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Batuecas, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Cádiz CF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lleger UD's performance. The match ended with a win for Lleger UD.
