Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Maurin Leon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Zavier Valines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ventura Sánchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurin Leon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ventura Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ventura Sánchez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maurin Leon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zavier Valines in the 52nd minute of play. Adrián Labarra's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eladio Huguet firmly grabbed it by the left post. Adrián Labarra in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
