Pepe Sobrado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Regis Nafría having to interfere. When Dorio Balcells fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lislyes F.C.'s protests and gave Dorio Balcells a yellow card for diving instead. Dorio Balcells hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Hanot Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tacito Lastras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hanot Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in USAL's zone, Anaya Bencoiechea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tacito Lastras came out of the goal and Anaya Bencoiechea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Eligio Sanz fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored USAL's protests and gave Eligio Sanz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lislyes F.C. booed when USAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eligio Sanz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eleuterio Cañadas to make the kick off. During the 51st minute of the match Dorio Balcells completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dorio Balcells a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Lislyes F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dorio Balcells hit a great ball. Lislyes F.C.'s Marijus Paukštis got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eleuterio Cañadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute Eleuterio Cañadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Regis Nafría saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, USAL's Eleuterio Cañadas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Regis Nafría narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Regis Nafría showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Cañadas in the 74th minute of play forced Lislyes F.C.'s goalkeeper Regis Nafría to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The USAL supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lislyes F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Lislyes F.C..
