Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Orihuela Deportiva's Juan-Francisco Ecija started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Orihuela Deportiva's Goyo Abasalo got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Francisco Ecija in the 14th minute of play forced Retamar FC's goalkeeper Batista Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Retamar FC got a freekick which was hit by Jago Pantoja. Amancio Munoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Cordarell Fuentes made a huge save. Cris Comas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Juan-Francisco Ecija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batista Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Retamar FC defense, Juan-Francisco Ecija kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Batista Delgado. The Retamar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Batista Delgado should have stopped the shot. Miro Etxeberria lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Cordarell Fuentes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Koldo Cartagena went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Orihuela Deportiva getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Carmelo Fresnos hit a great ball. In the 31st minute of the match Koldo Cartagena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cordarell Fuentes skillfully saved the ball. In the 33rd minute Oto Cainzos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordarell Fuentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xacintu Lorenzo made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Orihuela Deportiva's Goyo Abasalo. The Retamar FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Orihuela Deportiva were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oto Cainzos was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Retamar FC's zone, Juan-Francisco Ecija stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batista Delgado came out of the goal and Juan-Francisco Ecija tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cris Comas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Batista Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oto Cainzos in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cordarell Fuentes saved Orihuela Deportiva from getting behind. Oto Cainzos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cordarell Fuentes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Xacintu Lorenzo got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Xaiver Ballesteros. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Carmelo Fresnos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orihuela Deportiva's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Fresnos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Batista Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orihuela Deportiva's Carmelo Fresnos got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Orihuela Deportiva's goal looked a bit too open when Oto Cainzos came free, but Cordarell Fuentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Garin Pedraza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orihuela Deportiva's supporters rose to their feet, but Garin Pedraza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Batista Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garin Pedraza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Batista Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Garin Pedraza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 92nd minute Anxelu Verdeja suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Garin Pedraza fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orihuela Deportiva's protests and gave Garin Pedraza a yellow card for diving instead. Orihuela Deportiva played a much better game than Retamar FC and deserved their victory. The Retamar FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
