Antoni Paz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AD Nuevo Amanecer! When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, Casatejada's Roger Marques got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hernán Bermejo. In the 25th minute, Tauro Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernán Bermejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorencio Quijana in the 26th minute of play. Antoni Paz came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by AD Nuevo Amanecer's Benjamin Villanueva. But to his dismay, Benjamin Villanueva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Casatejada's Antoni Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Villanueva in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute Macerio Aizpurua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Rafa Abasalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. AD Nuevo Amanecer's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafa Abasalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoni Paz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 46 minutes, Benjamin Villanueva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AD Nuevo Amanecer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Villanueva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Casatejada's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Villanueva came free, but Antoni Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorencio Quijana was the one to do the kick off. Antoni Paz stood somewhat misplaced when Benjamin Villanueva came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 54 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafa Abasalo got free with Antoni Paz in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lorencio Quijana kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 minutes, Benjamin Villanueva made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Casatejada's Antoni Paz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Manolito Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoni Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Benjamin Villanueva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antoni Paz. Casatejada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Villanueva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Casatejada's Antoni Paz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Casatejada from getting a goal against them. Macerio Aizpurua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AD Nuevo Amanecer's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
