The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Estefan Romero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to GUITARFILICOS getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Estefan Romero hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Monistrol De Montserrat CF's Reimundo Escobar tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Monistrol De Montserrat CF's Cordeiro Mezquita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goiz Estrada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramond Abrego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Monistrol De Montserrat CF's Ramond Abrego sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goiz Estrada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Monistrol De Montserrat CF booed when GUITARFILICOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estefan Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Arnaldo Palanques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Monistrol De Montserrat CF's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Bernal came free, but Cloyo Bartumeu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inguma Bastida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Manolo Bernal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A hard shot 26 in the game by Inguma Bastida from a close distance when the talented Cloyo Bartumeu managed to make a qualified save. Monistrol De Montserrat CF's players were relieved. Ramond Abrego struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Goiz Estrada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monistrol De Montserrat CF. In the 34th match minute, Monistrol De Montserrat CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramond Abrego to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in GUITARFILICOS's zone, Ramond Abrego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Goiz Estrada came out of the goal and Ramond Abrego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as GUITARFILICOS's Manolo Bernal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cloyo Bartumeu. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cordeiro Mezquita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Monistrol De Montserrat CF's Ramond Abrego sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goiz Estrada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inguma Bastida took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cloyo Bartumeu. Cloyo Bartumeu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 65 minutes into the match, GUITARFILICOS's Manolo Bernal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cloyo Bartumeu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Goiz Estrada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramond Abrego in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, Ramond Abrego got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute of the match, Manel Adán got a very nice opportunity to score, but Goiz Estrada was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Inguma Bastida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Manolo Bernal came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the GUITARFILICOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manolo Bernal couldn't finish the play. Monistrol De Montserrat CF's Cloyo Bartumeu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Bernal in the 85th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of GUITARFILICOS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Monistrol De Montserrat CF:s goal. The referee gave Monistrol De Montserrat CF a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Reimundo Escobar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GUITARFILICOS's Goiz Estrada. 2-2. When Manel Adán fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monistrol De Montserrat CF's protests and gave Manel Adán a yellow card for diving instead. Cloyo Bartumeu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inguma Bastida, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Manel Adán was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Monistrol De Montserrat CF's Manel Adán got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute of the match GUITARFILICOS got a corner. Monistrol De Montserrat CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucio Guijarro ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 100thth minute of the game Manolo Bernal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monistrol De Montserrat CF's Cloyo Bartumeu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Despite being the better team, Monistrol De Montserrat CF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
