Olaf Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taio Barrios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cristobal Campoamor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. S.D. Casablanca's Oliverio Higuera got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Olaf Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Lara hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute of the match Ekain Soto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristobal Campoamor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Olaf Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mendebal Portillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristobal Campoamor made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Taio Barrios sent off a good shot on target. If Oliverio Higuera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Marfagones's goal looked a bit too open when Oliverio Higuera came free, but Mendebal Portillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pau Zapater to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, S.D. Casablanca's goal looked a bit too open when Taio Barrios came free, but Cristobal Campoamor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Taio Barrios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marfagones's supporters rose to their feet, but Taio Barrios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Campoamor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristobal Campoamor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pau Zapater, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 60 minutes, Pau Zapater managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marfagones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pau Zapater was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristobal Campoamor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taio Barrios, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Olaf Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.D.
