Romeo Valdivia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Lizarragabengoa CF's Gaspar Candamil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Valdivia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gaspar Candamil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Valdivia having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jon Rallo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lizarragabengoa CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon Rallo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Valdivia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jon Rallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Candamil struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Romeo Valdivia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lizarragabengoa CF. In the 29th minute, Erasto Manzano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jon Rallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Valdivia having to interfere. Gaspar Candamil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Candamil in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Valdivia saved Real Benejuzar CF from getting behind. Romeo Valdivia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Candamil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Jon Rallo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Romeo Valdivia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jon Rallo went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Gaspar Candamil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Candamil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Real Benejuzar CF's Romeo Valdivia got control of the ball when Jon Rallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute Gaspar Candamil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Valdivia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasto Manzano hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match Jon Rallo climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-5 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Romeo Valdivia. Lizarragabengoa CF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
