With an extended leg and a bit of luck Macabeo Vilanova prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serafín Vadillos struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Belisario Velazquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.D. Tenerife. Macabeo Vilanova came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by SPORTING SAMBA SECADERO's Iratxo Nueva. But to his dismay, Iratxo Nueva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Alfonso Bouzas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Serafín Vadillos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iratxo Nueva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Macabeo Vilanova tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Macabeo Vilanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Varela in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.D. Tenerife! The referee gave SPORTING SAMBA SECADERO a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adán Pabon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.D. Tenerife's Macabeo Vilanova. 0-2. In the 41st minute, Alfonso Bouzas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Bouzas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Belisario Velazquez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Iratxo Nueva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siro Varela to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, C.D. Tenerife's Braulio Doblas got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Iratxo Nueva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Iratxo Nueva managed to get in a good position for a shot. SPORTING SAMBA SECADERO's supporters rose to their feet, but Iratxo Nueva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Macabeo Vilanova breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 played minutes SPORTING SAMBA SECADERO got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Taules. After a rather tough play, C.D. Tenerife's Marciano Fuente got a free kick in the 69th minute. Marciano Fuente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Belisario Velazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.D. Tenerife's Macabeo Vilanova proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save C.D. Tenerife from getting a goal against them. Macabeo Vilanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Varela in the 77th minute of play. Siro Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macabeo Vilanova having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Iratxo Nueva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SPORTING SAMBA SECADERO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iratxo Nueva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The SPORTING SAMBA SECADERO players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
