After some careless play in the Herville F.C defense, Arxel Astudillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antimo Alonso. The Herville F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antimo Alonso should have stopped the shot. Belmiro Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antimo Alonso having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Arxel Astudillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Belmiro Diaz made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Reynaldo Quijana from a close distance when the talented Cosme Baeza managed to make a qualified save. Lio F.C's players were relieved. In the 54th match minute, Lio F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yader Cienfuegos to maneuver through the defense. If Arxel Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 63 minutes, Herminio Pascua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lio F.C and the Herville F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Herminio Pascua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arxel Astudillo in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antimo Alonso saved Herville F.C from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Lio F.C's Arxel Astudillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antimo Alonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antimo Alonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Diaz in the 76th minute of play. Antimo Alonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arxel Astudillo in the 77th minute of the match. Belmiro Diaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Pascua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Antimo Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arxel Astudillo scored 3-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antimo Alonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Belmiro Diaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Antimo Alonso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Arxel Astudillo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Herville F.C's Antimo Alonso. Antimo Alonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lio F.C had played much better football throughout.
