In the 26th minute Reynaldo Quijana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maule Abasalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Sant Llorenç De Montgai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Diaz to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Quijana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maule Abasalo having to interfere. Carolo Ribeiro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Quentin Bernal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carolo Ribeiro scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maule Abasalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Quijana in the 41st minute of play forced Sant Llorenç De Montgai's goalkeeper Maule Abasalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maule Abasalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Villafane, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Herville F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremias Villafane was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfons Japón during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Herville F.C's Alfons Japón got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute Tato Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antimo Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Jeremias Villafane took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Maule Abasalo to make any attempt to save it. Quentin Bernal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Antimo Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antimo Alonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Bernal in the 69th minute of play. Quentin Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quentin Bernal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Antimo Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Sant Llorenç De Montgai's Quentin Bernal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antimo Alonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antimo Alonso came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Sant Llorenç De Montgai's Quentin Bernal. But to his dismay, Quentin Bernal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Antimo Alonso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tato Arias's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Tato Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antimo Alonso having to interfere. Antimo Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quentin Bernal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Quentin Bernal came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Sant Llorenç De Montgai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quentin Bernal couldn't finish the play. Tomualdo Contratas hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
