Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Palencia C.F.'s Xove Aguado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Palencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Faustino Tobias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milosz Ziemniak. With a little luck, Palencia C.F.'s Faustino Tobias got control of the ball when Yoel Canal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yoel Canals short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Faustino Tobias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Xines Camacho hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With splendid footwork Yoel Canal arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Mazinkaisers's goal looked a bit too open when Xove Aguado came free, but Nando Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Efren Diaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mazinkaisers's supporters rose to their feet, but Efren Diaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Tobias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bela Unzueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Yoel Canal notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Palencia C.F.'s Faustino Tobias. Faustino Tobias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute, Yoel Canal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faustino Tobias made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Milosz Ziemniak sent off a good shot on target. Yoel Canal came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Faustino Tobias could save by the left post. Mazinkaisers were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Palencia C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Barto Pedriza took the corner. The corner ended in Barto Pedriza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Palencia C.F.'s Faustino Tobias did a great save. 42 minutes into the game, Xove Aguado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palencia C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mazinkaisers the free kick. A collision led to Palencia C.F. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Xove Aguado hit a great ball. Faustino Tobias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoel Canal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Yoel Canal made the kick off in the second half. Faustino Tobias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efren Diaz in the 56th minute of play. Yoel Canal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mazinkaisers's Nando Escobar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Mazinkaisers from getting a goal against them. Macedonio Paredes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Nando Escobar made a huge save. In the 63rd match minute, Mazinkaisers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efren Diaz to maneuver through the defense. If Xove Aguado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Palencia C.F. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cesario Maestro hit a great ball. Barto Pedriza, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nando Escobar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Macedonio Paredes in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Palencia C.F.'s zone, Efren Diaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Tobias came out of the goal and Efren Diaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faustino Tobias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yoel Canal went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 80 played minutes Palencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Caitano Vega. After 81 minutes, Yoel Canal made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Palencia C.F.'s Faustino Tobias tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Faustino Tobias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efren Diaz in the 89th minute of the match. Yoel Canal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Tobias having to interfere. Mazinkaisers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
