Haitz Palanques kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Arnulfo Huguet got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Porrasboyz FC's Pierres Losantos got control of the ball when Xove Aguado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnulfo Huguet struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Pierres Losantos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palencia C.F.. After 23 played minutes Porrasboyz FC got a freekick which was hit by Roger Ferrer. Palencia C.F.'s Arnaldo Acedo suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Montrel Blanco fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porrasboyz FC's protests and gave Montrel Blanco a yellow card for diving instead. Bruno Bargas hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Porrasboyz FC's Roger Ferrer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faustino Tobias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xove Aguado got free with Pierres Losantos in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
The supporters of Palencia C.F. booed when Porrasboyz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Checa Gabas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xove Aguado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Pierres Losantos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palencia C.F.'s Caitano Vega got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Palencia C.F.'s Xove Aguado got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xove Aguado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierres Losantos having to interfere. When Elvio Acarreta came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Palencia C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Acarreta couldn't finish the play. Xove Aguado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Porrasboyz FC's zone, Xove Aguado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierres Losantos came out of the goal and Xove Aguado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xove Aguado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Pierres Losantos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gelacio Olano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Faustino Tobias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xove Aguado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierres Losantos having to interfere. A collision led to Porrasboyz FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Haitz Palanques hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Palencia C.F. had won after a very even match.
