Clemencin Quesada started the match with the kick off. Clodio Nafría hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Damaso Campos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Germán Rey. Posadas Ricas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Campos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Wilfredo Tobia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damaso Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germán Rey having to interfere. In the 24th minute Jaizki Carmona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baudelio Macías saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaizki Carmona scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baudelio Macías, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anacleto Casero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Baudelio Macías tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baudelio Macías made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaizki Carmona in the 32nd minute of play. If Anacleto Casero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, Sacedoncillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Campomanes to maneuver through the defense. When Damaso Campos fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sacedoncillo AFC's protests and gave Damaso Campos a yellow card for diving instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaizki Carmona was the one to do the kick off. Anacleto Casero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baudelio Macías having to interfere. The Sacedoncillo AFC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Sacedoncillo AFC's Damaso Campos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Sacedoncillo AFC booed when Posadas Ricas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anacleto Casero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Sacedoncillo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaizki Carmona came free, but Baudelio Macías reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sacedoncillo AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Orlondo Camara hit a great ball.
