The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in AGUIAR C.F's zone, Iker Canturri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hitz Vacas came out of the goal and Iker Canturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Xaime Titos managed to get in a good position for a shot. AGUIAR C.F's supporters rose to their feet, but Xaime Titos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliviero Medina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Anatolio Zubiaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliviero Medina was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Solivella AFC's Oliviero Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xaime Titos in the 9th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Solivella AFC got a freekick which was hit by Zenon De Silva. Reynaldo Vazquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hitz Vacas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hitz Vacas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Vazquez in the 21st minute of play. Hitz Vacas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Vazquez in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Solivella AFC's goalkeeper Oliviero Medina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Benedicto Lama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th match minute, AGUIAR C.F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xaime Titos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xaime Titos in the 33rd minute of play forced Solivella AFC's goalkeeper Oliviero Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hitz Vacas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Vazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Zenon De Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Solivella AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AGUIAR C.F the free kick. A collision led to Solivella AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Zenon De Silva hit a great ball. Hitz Vacas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Vazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Reynaldo Vazquez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hitz Vacas. The goal made the score 1-1. Iker Canturri struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Hitz Vacas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solivella AFC. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anatolio Zubiaga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xaime Titos kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Hitz Vacas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Vazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Iker Canturri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hitz Vacas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Reynaldo Vazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Canturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Reynaldo Vazquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solivella AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Vazquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oliviero Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Cabezas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Anatolio Zubiaga sped through Solivella AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oliviero Medina. Hitz Vacas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Canturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrei Cainzos's late challenge caught a Solivella AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrei Cainzos helped the player get up and apologised. Andrei Cainzos kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
