Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pancho Buenafuente started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Munio Titos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eliazar Clemente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 6 played minutes Nuevo Santuario got a freekick which was hit by Laurgain Salan. Gilberto Fuente hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Eliazar Clemente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Munio Titos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuevo Santuario's Eliazar Clemente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pancho Buenafuente in the 14th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Munio Titos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bilbao's supporters rose to their feet, but Munio Titos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliazar Clemente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliazar Clemente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pancho Buenafuente in the 17th minute of play. Munio Titos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Eliazar Clemente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, one of Nuevo Santuario:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nuevo Santuario. With his leg Urbano Moreno managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Nuevo Santuario's Jusepe Castelao fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ismael Sierra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Moreno having to interfere. If Pancho Buenafuente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Ismael Sierra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bilbao's Urbano Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Sierra took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbano Moreno. Urbano Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Nuevo Santuario's Ismael Sierra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Urbano Moreno. That made the score 2-2 after 48 minutes of play.

Eliazar Clemente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pancho Buenafuente's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Pancho Buenafuente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliazar Clemente having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Pancho Buenafuente fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jusepe Castelao during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jusepe Castelao hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pancho Buenafuente in the 73rd minute of play forced Nuevo Santuario's goalkeeper Eliazar Clemente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bilbao booed when Nuevo Santuario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Carballeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nuevo Santuario's zone, Munio Titos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliazar Clemente came out of the goal and Munio Titos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Nuevo Santuario booed when Bilbao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iyan Macia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jusepe Castelao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Sierra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Moreno having to interfere. Sancho Quijana hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Haitz Babia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliazar Clemente. Nuevo Santuario's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
