Olaf Vadillos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Asteri Ramirez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Giraldo Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th match minute, Brujuelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Villar to maneuver through the defense. Giraldo Aznar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nacho Esperta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Asteri Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Macías, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Amato Acarreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The tension between the Guadalupe CF and the Brujuelo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Brujuelo FC's Asteri Ramirez threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Federico Macías, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Claudio Pacheco's late challenge caught a Brujuelo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Pacheco helped the player get up and apologised. Federico Macías received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Asteri Ramirez came out and tried to block the shot, but Federico Macías slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. With a little luck, Guadalupe CF's Asteri Ramirez got control of the ball when Olaf Vadillos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Federico Macías made the kick off in the second half. Napoleón Gonzalvez charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Napoleón Gonzalvez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Brujuelo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guadalupe CF's performance. The match ended with a win for Guadalupe CF.
