A hard shot 15 in the game by Marco Vega from a close distance when the talented Eskuin Carreira managed to make a qualified save. Valor's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quin Dean in the 29th minute of play forced Valor's goalkeeper Eskuin Carreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomil Smuskiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Palacios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskuin Carreira having to interfere. Eskuin Carreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antxo Domenech, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Germán Canosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radomil Smuskiewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Berriatua's Lleir Cardeñosa got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Eskuin Carreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Vega in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Germán Canosa spun around in front of the goal 59 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Berriatua's goal. The supporters of Berriatua booed when Valor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nacho Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Valor's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Vega came free, but Eskuin Carreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Vega struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Eskuin Carreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berriatua. A collision led to Valor getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Goi Casas hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Berriatua's goalkeeper Radomil Smuskiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germán Canosa. Marco Vega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Eskuin Carreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Valor's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Vega came free, but Eskuin Carreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
