In the 10th minute, one of Alcalá De Henares AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alcalá De Henares AFC. The goalkeeper, Dolfo Manrique, was totally fooled by Urquizu's Zahar Landa, who 11 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ildefonso Cartagena received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dolfo Manrique came out and tried to block the shot, but Ildefonso Cartagena slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. When Cheche Noya fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urquizu's protests and gave Cheche Noya a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Cheche Noya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gero Pantoja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Henry Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Ildefonso Cartagena made a precise shot to the right of Dolfo Manrique. Alcalá De Henares AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The supporters of Urquizu booed when Alcalá De Henares AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joan Mangas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dolfo Manrique made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cefero Bencoiechea in the 33rd minute. Ildefonso Cartagena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sanson Saura hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Dolfo Manrique made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cefero Bencoiechea in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

In the 56th minute, Urquizu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gero Pantoja fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gero Pantoja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Henry Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cefero Bencoiechea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmacio Urquijo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Cefero Bencoiechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dolfo Manrique saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Santos made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Pepe Tobias sent off a good shot on target. If Ildefonso Cartagena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Bela Redondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urquizu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alcalá De Henares AFC the free kick. After 75 played minutes Urquizu got a freekick which was hit by Bela Redondo. Dolfo Manrique showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Cartagena in the 80th minute of the match. Cefero Bencoiechea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dolfo Manrique having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Alcalá De Henares AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Cartagena came free, but Dolfo Manrique reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheche Noya in the 90th minute of play forced Alcalá De Henares AFC's goalkeeper Dolfo Manrique to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dolfo Manrique took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Cartagena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xulian Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Urquizu had played much better football throughout.
