The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ostadar Patiño helped the player get up and apologised. Galindo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estebano Balboa in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Estebano Balboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galindo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match, Jago Solano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pascal Echavarri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Etxahun Benítez charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Etxahun Benítez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ermua booed when Cobaticas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etxahun Benítez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jago Solano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Echavarri having to interfere. Pascal Echavarri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jago Solano in the 25th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Joselito Aguado could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Pascal Echavarri however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Cobaticas FC booed when Ermua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Felix Herrera sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cobaticas FC's Pascal Echavarri didn't even have to move. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

55 minutes into the match, Ermua's goalkeeper Galindo Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Casanova. Estebano Balboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Galindo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cobaticas FC's Pascal Echavarri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joselito Aguado in the 77th minute of play. Jago Solano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jago Solano in the 81st minute of play forced Cobaticas FC's goalkeeper Pascal Echavarri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Ermua's Gabino Rossello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascal Echavarri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Jago Solano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, Cobaticas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Casanova to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 92 minutes, Joselito Aguado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ermua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joselito Aguado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascal Echavarri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jago Solano, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Jago Solano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 99 minutes into the match, Joselito Aguado notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cobaticas FC's Pascal Echavarri. Pascal Echavarri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ermua walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
