Edilberto Batuecas hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, El Mas De Dalt AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nerio Litago came free, but Lucio Esteban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Edilberto Batuecas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Primo Montiel could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Nicolao Navarro however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Miro Mendez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicolao Navarro. That made the score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Nerio Litago notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of El Mas De Dalt AFC's Lucio Esteban. Lucio Esteban was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. El Mas De Dalt AFC's Lucio Esteban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peio Losantos in the 36th minute of play. Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD's Nerio Litago got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute Primo Montiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolao Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, El Mas De Dalt AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Peio Losantos came free, but Lucio Esteban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Mas De Dalt AFC's Lucio Esteban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nerio Litago in the 46th minute of play. 1-3 became the score in the 48th minute when Peio Losantos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Miro Mendez made the kick off in the second half. Lucio Esteban made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Dei Morera sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the game, Nerio Litago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Lucio Esteban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 58 minutes, Peio Losantos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peio Losantos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eleodoro Raya hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in El Mas De Dalt AFC's zone, Nerio Litago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Esteban came out of the goal and Nerio Litago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peio Losantos got free with Lucio Esteban in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD's zone, Miro Mendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolao Navarro came out of the goal and Miro Mendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miro Mendez in the 70th minute of play forced Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD's goalkeeper Nicolao Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primo Montiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucio Esteban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nerio Litago in the 77th minute of play. Lucio Esteban made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Peio Losantos sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Epifanio Salgado during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st match minute, El Mas De Dalt AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Salgado to maneuver through the defense. When Peio Losantos came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peio Losantos couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Nerio Litago dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucio Esteban, 1-5. Peio Losantos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Lucio Esteban made a huge save. In the 88th match minute, Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edilberto Batuecas to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Miro Mendez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolao Navarro was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The supporters of Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD booed when El Mas De Dalt AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleodoro Raya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucio Esteban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nerio Litago in the 97th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Peio Losantos took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Lucio Esteban to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
