Lucio Esteban was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ostadar Gasso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Eloy Buendia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Lucio Esteban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Miro Mendez made a precise shot to the right of Saverio Saura. Cabo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, El Mas De Dalt AFC's Eleodoro Raya got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ostadar Gasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Esteban having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Cabo got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Casillas. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Primo Montiel was the one to do the kick off. A nice corner shot did that Heli Zubizarreta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saverio Saura quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yvon Cuevas during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucio Esteban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ostadar Gasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ostadar Gasso in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucio Esteban saved El Mas De Dalt AFC from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Cabo's goalkeeper Saverio Saura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primo Montiel. When Eloy Buendia came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Cabo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Buendia couldn't finish the play. If Ostadar Gasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ponciano Alcantara during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. José Vuelta shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Buendia in the 94th minute of play forced El Mas De Dalt AFC's goalkeeper Lucio Esteban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Esteban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ostadar Gasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
