In the 17th minute, Eloy Buendia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Peio Losantos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Saverio Saura. The goal made the score 1-0. When Edilberto Batuecas came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edilberto Batuecas couldn't finish the play. In the 29thth minute of the game Nerio Litago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabo's Saverio Saura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Lawrence Castillo fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabo's protests and gave Lawrence Castillo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cabo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lawrence Castillo hit a great ball. Nicolao Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Buendia, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Dei Morera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Saverio Saura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cabo's Lawrence Castillo got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Lawrence Castillo off the ground. Lawrence Castillo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Bahiano Quevedo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nerio Litago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ostadar Gasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peio Losantos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dei Morera hit a great ball. Saverio Saura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peio Losantos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Ostadar Gasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolao Navarro. Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ostadar Gasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Peio Losantos struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Saverio Saura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD. After 64 played minutes Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD got a freekick which was hit by Dei Morera. After a rather tough play, Cabo's Bizen Azofra got a free kick in the 67th minute. Peio Losantos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cabo's zone, Peio Losantos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saverio Saura came out of the goal and Peio Losantos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Saura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peio Losantos in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Nerio Litago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Saverio Saura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bizen Azofra kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Peio Losantos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Saura having to interfere. Saverio Saura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peio Losantos in the 84th minute of the match. Cabo were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Santa Cruz De La Sierra UD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Vuelta took the corner. A nice corner shot did that José Vuelta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nicolao Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Peio Losantos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Saverio Saura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peio Losantos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peio Losantos in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saverio Saura saved Cabo from getting behind.
