Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Deportivo Ciudad's Evaristo Palencia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Deportivo Ciudad got a freekick which was hit by Zenon Harroyo. If Fabricio Gandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Gandia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dabi Zamora didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Campomanes went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute, Severino Abellan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emilio Campomanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Campomanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabricio Gandia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leizarraga Portillo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Miguel Encina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Ciudad. Miguel Encina came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Ciudad's Leizarraga Portillo. But to his dismay, Leizarraga Portillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Evaristo Palencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Miguel Encina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Campomanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dabi Zamora having to interfere. Miguel Encina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leizarraga Portillo in the 46th minute. Mundo Molina kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Gandia made a kick off. When Zenon Harroyo fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Ciudad's protests and gave Zenon Harroyo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bouzadrago booed when Deportivo Ciudad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenon Harroyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dabi Zamora was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roger Soto. After 59 played minutes Deportivo Ciudad got a freekick which was hit by Zenon Harroyo. Roger Soto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dabi Zamora. Deportivo Ciudad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo Ciudad getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Atilano Nunez hit a great ball. Emilio Campomanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dabi Zamora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Fabricio Gandia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bouzadrago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Gandia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Encina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Palencia in the 72nd minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Bouzadrago got a freekick which was hit by Gergori Pardo. After 74 minutes, Evaristo Palencia made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bouzadrago's Miguel Encina tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Zenon Harroyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Bouzadrago's Fabricio Gandia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Ciudad's zone, Emilio Campomanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dabi Zamora came out of the goal and Emilio Campomanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bouzadrago were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
