Dabi Zamora came out of the goal and Meder Baltanas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Meder Baltanas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xan Acedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justin Coira hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Leizarraga Portillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isandro Zubizarreta was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xan Acedo in the 19th minute of play forced Deportivo Ciudad's goalkeeper Dabi Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Xan Acedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Ciudad's Dabi Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xan Acedo in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Ciudad's goalkeeper Dabi Zamora, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 45 minutes of play, Gascue CF's Xan Acedo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dabi Zamora was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaristo Palencia made a kick off. Xan Acedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute Meder Baltanas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dabi Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gascue CF's Meder Baltanas got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Ciudad's Atilano Nunez got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Xan Acedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Meder Baltanas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dabi Zamora having to interfere. Meder Baltanas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ciudad's goal looked a bit too open when Meder Baltanas came free, but Dabi Zamora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Deportivo Ciudad defense, Florencio Correa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dabi Zamora. The Deportivo Ciudad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dabi Zamora should have stopped the shot. When Florencio Correa fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gascue CF's protests and gave Florencio Correa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Gascue CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Correa to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leizarraga Portillo got free with Isandro Zubizarreta in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute, Xan Acedo made a precise shot to the right of Dabi Zamora. Deportivo Ciudad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 93rd match minute, Gascue CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Correa to maneuver through the defense. If Evaristo Palencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gascue CF had played much better football throughout.
