A hard shot by Tartalo Salgado from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Venceslás Riells's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gerb FC's Hitzeder Quevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Bermejo in the 6th minute of play. Lancelot Carrasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ion Bermejo in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hitzeder Quevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 17 played minutes Gerb FC got a freekick which was hit by Pirro Fresnos. Venceslás Riells made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose-Manuel Gomar in the 25th minute of play. Edorta Abancens took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Venceslás Riells. Venceslás Riells dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 31st minute Jose-Manuel Gomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venceslás Riells saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edorta Abancens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venceslás Riells having to interfere. Ion Bermejo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Hitzeder Quevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for O Vicedo. After having played for 37 minutes, Edorta Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gerb FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edorta Abancens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lancelot Carrasco in the 42nd minute of play forced Gerb FC's goalkeeper Hitzeder Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose-Manuel Gomar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Venceslás Riells tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yuri Antunez kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Hitzeder Quevedo came out of the goal and Lancelot Carrasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Edorta Abancens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venceslás Riells. The supporters of O Vicedo booed when Gerb FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes Gerb FC got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Barbosa. Lancelot Carrasco's late challenge caught a Gerb FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
