If Cristofer Gandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Cabreton UD getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jerold Gonzáles hit a great ball. If Julian Rogozinskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. popcityfc's Simon Novo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save popcityfc from getting a goal against them. Urko Casta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Pena having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cabreton UD's zone, Urko Casta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Pena came out of the goal and Urko Casta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Lucio Pascual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Novo made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Edur Garcia sent off a good shot on target. When Urko Casta came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the popcityfc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urko Casta couldn't finish the play. popcityfc's Simon Novo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save popcityfc from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Vega to make the kick off. Cristofer Gandia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prospero Pena having to make a save. Prospero Pena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristofer Gandia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alberto Vega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Vega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Simon Novo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Novo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edur Garcia in the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the popcityfc defense, Alberto Vega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Novo. The popcityfc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Novo should have stopped the shot. Silverio Bellido kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Cabreton UD's Gallo Jaen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Edur Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edur Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edur Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edur Garcia hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Cristofer Gandia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Prospero Pena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Prospero Pena made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Julian Rogozinskiy sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind popcityfc's goalkeeper Simon Novo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Prospero Pena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Rogozinskiy in the 77th minute. Simon Novo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerold Gonzáles in the 79th minute of play. Facundo Cainzos charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Facundo Cainzos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Facundo Cainzos kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When the match was over popcityfc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cabreton UD throughout the match.
