Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdo Figueres started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alirio Camara during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. U.D. PÍO PIO's Presebal Aizpurua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alirio Camara in the 9th minute of play. Alirio Camara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Presebal Aizpurua having to make a save. In the 16th match minute, real madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nisio Zárate to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venceslás Vazquez in the 19th minute of play forced real madrid's goalkeeper Apolinar Macías to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Presebal Aizpurua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alirio Camara, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, real madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Mergildo Esteban came free, but Apolinar Macías reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Cordarin Vazquez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Presebal Aizpurua, passed just outside the right post. After 36 played minutes U.D. PÍO PIO got a freekick which was hit by Calisto Puyol. The crowd rose to their feet as Alirio Camara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Presebal Aizpurua. That made the score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. A collision led to real madrid getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alirio Camara hit a great ball. After 47 minutes of play, U.D. PÍO PIO's Venceslás Vazquez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apolinar Macías was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

real madrid's Cordarin Vazquez got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, real madrid's Chan Sánchez got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 67th match minute, real madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ostadar Dellasierra to maneuver through the defense. Apolinar Macías was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marco Montaña. Apolinar Macías made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mergildo Esteban in the 71st minute of play. Valdo Figueres struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Presebal Aizpurua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for real madrid. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Alirio Camara managed to get in a good position for a shot. real madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Alirio Camara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Presebal Aizpurua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Valdo Figueres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, real madrid's Gonsalvo Silva got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Alirio Camara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. real madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alirio Camara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
