In the 3rd minute Zadornin Villalcazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5thth minute of the game Quirce Abril who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Athletic Club de Bilbao's Humberto Carceles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Athletic Club de Bilbao's Zadornin Villalcazar in the 10th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Arturo Hidalgo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for RCDE Ullets through an amazing save. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Quirce Abril sped through Athletic Club de Bilbao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Humberto Carceles. Dalmau Sánchez charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmau Sánchez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, RCDE Ullets's Dalmau Sánchez got a free kick in the 28th minute. Zadornin Villalcazar charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 30 played minutes Athletic Club de Bilbao got a freekick which was hit by Zadornin Villalcazar. Athletic Club de Bilbao's Humberto Carceles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmau Sánchez in the 31st minute of play. If Quirce Abril had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quico Zapater hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Faustino Barrios fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Athletic Club de Bilbao's protests and gave Faustino Barrios a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Athletic Club de Bilbao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Barrios to maneuver through the defense. Quirce Abril scored 1-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humberto Carceles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When RCDE Ullets's Dalmau Sánchez in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in RCDE Ullets's zone, Zadornin Villalcazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Hidalgo came out of the goal and Zadornin Villalcazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Carceles made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Dalmau Sánchez sent off a good shot on target. After 56 minutes, Quico Zapater mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RCDE Ullets and the Athletic Club de Bilbao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Natanael Cifuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Hidalgo having to interfere. Natanael Cifuentes struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Arturo Hidalgo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Athletic Club de Bilbao. 63 minutes into the match, RCDE Ullets's goal looked a bit too open when Zadornin Villalcazar came free, but Arturo Hidalgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zadornin Villalcazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Hidalgo having to interfere. Dalmau Sánchez might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Carceles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmau Sánchez ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Quirce Abril sped through Athletic Club de Bilbao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Humberto Carceles. Dalmau Sánchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Humberto Carceles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Athletic Club de Bilbao got a freekick which was hit by Zadornin Villalcazar. When Quirce Abril came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the RCDE Ullets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quirce Abril couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, RCDE Ullets's Benja De la Torre got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute Natanael Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, RCDE Ullets's Dalmau Sánchez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Humberto Carceles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. RCDE Ullets walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
