Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Xinto Urbieta came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the FC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xinto Urbieta couldn't finish the play. FC Barcelona's Osvaldo Javiar got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xamin Mayol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nesto Llorca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Goiz Labarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Nesto Llorca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Santalla during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Amador Santalla hit a great ball. Osvaldo Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nesto Llorca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldo Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Nesto Llorca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Goiz Labarra went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Duarte Bacete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Torrelavega CF's Osvaldo Santos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Osvaldo Javiar struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Xurxo Puyol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona. Amador Santalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Torrelavega CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salbatore Carballeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Barcelona's Amador Santalla got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered Amador Santalla off the ground. Amador Santalla hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Goiz Labarra came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nesto Llorca could save by the left post. When Osvaldo Javiar came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the FC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. Bero Saboya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xurxo Puyol having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Torrelavega CF's zone, Osvaldo Javiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xurxo Puyol came out of the goal and Osvaldo Javiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amarante Lopez during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Torrelavega CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amarante Lopez to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Goiz Labarra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nesto Llorca was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bero Saboya made a kick off. Torrelavega CF's Xurxo Puyol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bero Saboya in the 52nd minute of play. When Goiz Labarra came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Torrelavega CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Goiz Labarra couldn't finish the play. Bero Saboya struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. After 70 minutes of play, Torrelavega CF's Xamin Mayol made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nesto Llorca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xamin Mayol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nesto Llorca having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when FC Barcelona's Osvaldo Javiar in the 75th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Xurxo Puyol was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Torrelavega CF through an amazing save. Bero Saboya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Javiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Xurxo Puyol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bero Saboya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of FC Barcelona's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Barcelona may have spent more time on the ball, but Torrelavega CF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
