Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zubia F.C.'s Frodo Quintanilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Rapado in the 5th minute of play. Villalba Del Rey's Cordeiro Cano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Villalba Del Rey from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute, Ciro Zapatero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arrosko Alfaro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Argenis Jubera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordeiro Cano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Zapatero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cordeiro Cano made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Argenis Jubera sent off a good shot on target. After 28 played minutes Villalba Del Rey got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Castillo. Cordeiro Cano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Zapatero in the 28th minute of the match. When Ciro Zapatero came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Zubia F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Zapatero couldn't finish the play. Frodo Quintanilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Rapado's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Anastasio Rapado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frodo Quintanilla having to interfere. Argenis Jubera might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cordeiro Cano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Argenis Jubera ran back to his position shaking his head. Zubia F.C.'s Ciro Zapatero got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Argenis Jubera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cordeiro Cano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Zapatero in the 47th minute of play forced Villalba Del Rey's goalkeeper Cordeiro Cano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After having played for 52 minutes, Argenis Jubera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zubia F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Argenis Jubera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 54 minutes, Jose-Manuel Elias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villalba Del Rey and the Zubia F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Villalba Del Rey! Villalba Del Rey:s Cordeiro Cano showed great skill when he stopped Dolfo Pedriza:s penalty. 57 minutes into the match, Zubia F.C.'s Argenis Jubera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cordeiro Cano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Iyan Sans fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villalba Del Rey's protests and gave Iyan Sans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute of the match Blanco Irureta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cordeiro Cano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Zapatero in the 66th minute of play forced Villalba Del Rey's goalkeeper Cordeiro Cano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zubia F.C.'s Ciro Zapatero got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Arsenio Cainzos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordeiro Cano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Arrosko Alfaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 85th minute, Iyan Sans reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Frodo Quintanilla. The goal made the score 0-3. Argenis Jubera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zubia F.C.'s Arsenio Cainzos pulled a muscle in his leg after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Villalba Del Rey's Tomás Castillo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gorri Cuervas during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Villalba Del Rey booed when Zubia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Villalba Del Rey supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villalba Del Rey would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
