An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordeiro Nieto in the 3rd minute of play forced Meirama CF's goalkeeper Cilio Maroto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sebastián Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Maximiliano Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urko Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cordeiro Nieto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cilio Maroto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Aresti Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rebolledo AD and the Meirama CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rebolledo AD! 22 minutes into the game, Meirama CF's Jonas Ecija nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urko Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Urko Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Campos in the 28th minute of the match. Maximiliano Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Rebolledo AD's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastián Herrera came free, but Urko Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jonas Ecija fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meirama CF's protests and gave Jonas Ecija a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Jonas Ecija hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Rebolledo AD's Montes Pedraza got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Urko Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Campos in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Sebastián Herrera made the kick off in the second half. Sebastián Herrera struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Urko Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meirama CF. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Campos got free with Urko Velasco in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Urko Velasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastián Herrera's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Urko Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Bencoiechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Campos got free with Urko Velasco in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Rebolledo AD's Cordeiro Nieto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cilio Maroto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cordeiro Nieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordeiro Nieto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cilio Maroto having to interfere. Cilio Maroto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordeiro Nieto in the 81st minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Rebolledo AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cortez Carballido to maneuver through the defense.
