The supporters of Roquetas S.A.D booed when Guadarranque CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eufemio Odín didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Roquetas S.A.D's zone, Eufemio Odín stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sinforiano Llinares came out of the goal and Eufemio Odín tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Sinforiano Llinares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Guadarranque CD's Fidencio Salazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natal Infante in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Anxo Pabon made a precise shot to the right of Sinforiano Llinares. Roquetas S.A.D's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Anxo Pabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Enzo Saez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sinforiano Llinares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Eufemio Odín a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Enzo Saez helped the player get up and apologised. Enzo Saez hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, Guadarranque CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Saez to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anxo Pabon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guadarranque CD's Orlando Bodelon got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
