Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Poblet's zone, Kutlu Somer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cresenciano Abasalo came out of the goal and Kutlu Somer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Mont-roig's Urtsua Litago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Barbosa in the 12th minute of play. Kutlu Somer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urtsua Litago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Club Mont-roig's Urtsua Litago got control of the ball when Natxo Naranjo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Kutlu Somer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Santiago Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urtsua Litago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Santiago Barbosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Urtsua Litago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Barbosa in the 40th minute of play forced Club Mont-roig's goalkeeper Urtsua Litago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Olle hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Kutlu Somer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cresenciano Abasalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Barbosa made a kick off. Santiago Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Urtsua Litago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poblet. When Che Quevedo came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Club Mont-roig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Che Quevedo couldn't finish the play. After 61 played minutes Poblet got a freekick which was hit by Franco Olle. A collision led to Poblet getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Santiago Barbosa hit a great ball. Franco Olle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Urtsua Litago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Kutlu Somer lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Cresenciano Abasalo. After 85 minutes of play, Poblet's Franco Olle made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urtsua Litago was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Kutlu Somer came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Club Mont-roig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kutlu Somer couldn't finish the play.
