When Víctor Cuervas fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sant Pere FC's protests and gave Víctor Cuervas a yellow card for diving instead. Víctor Cuervas hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Tolino Esteban was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avellano Cayuela in the 12th minute of play forced Sant Pere FC's goalkeeper Heliodoro Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víctor Cuervas hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Vilapericos's Tolino Esteban tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Heliodoro Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avellano Cayuela in the 17th minute of play. Bertran Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Redondo in the 19th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Sant Pere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafín Manzano to maneuver through the defense. Heliodoro Mora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lekumberri Bouzas in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Sant Pere FC's goalkeeper Heliodoro Mora had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lekumberri Bouzas. Lekumberri Bouzas might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heliodoro Mora. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lekumberri Bouzas ran back to his position shaking his head. Bertran Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristos Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Albino Idiaquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Vilapericos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristos Sancho came free, but Bertran Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertran Martinez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Redondo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Redondo made a kick off. Avellano Cayuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heliodoro Mora having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Avellano Cayuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heliodoro Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertran Martinez made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Cristos Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Albino Idiaquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Heliodoro Mora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lekumberri Bouzas might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heliodoro Mora. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lekumberri Bouzas ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avellano Cayuela in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heliodoro Mora saved Sant Pere FC from getting behind. Heliodoro Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avellano Cayuela in the 97th minute of play. Vilapericos were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
