Mesa Del Mar's supporters rose to their feet, but Xuoco Beloki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joanes Japón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes Vilanova del valles got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Azofra. In the 22nd minute Francisco Santalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joanes Japón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quintin Vilanova in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joanes Japón prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Isidoro Vera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joanes Japón was relentless in the 25th minute of the game.
