Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Beremundo Escurza fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viso's protests and gave Beremundo Escurza a yellow card for diving instead. Beremundo Escurza hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Luke Menendez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidro Garay. Viso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luke Menendez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Paco Sirvent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Isidro Garay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Paco Sirvent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santander SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paco Sirvent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidro Garay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paco Sirvent in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Santander SD's goal looked a bit too open when Gilabert Caballero came free, but Aladino Echeto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paco Sirvent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paco Sirvent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Garay having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Viso's zone, Xaiver Guerrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Garay came out of the goal and Xaiver Guerrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paco Sirvent struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Isidro Garay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santander SD. A hard shot 29 in the game by Paco Sirvent from a close distance when the talented Isidro Garay managed to make a qualified save. Viso's players were relieved. Albino Menendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Mambru Reyes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aladino Echeto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Menendez in the 37th minute of play. Paco Sirvent succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. A collision led to Viso getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gilabert Caballero hit a great ball. If Xaiver Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paco Sirvent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Isidro Garay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paco Sirvent was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Xaiver Guerrero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paco Sirvent ran back to his position shaking his head. Paco Sirvent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paco Sirvent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
