The referee ignored Piera UD's protests and gave Raúl Barberá a yellow card for diving instead. Raúl Barberá kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Piera UD's Xandro Sainz got a free kick in the 5th minute. Asnefas FC's Milio Tormes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietro Lermo in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Asnefas FC's goalkeeper Milio Tormes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 0-1 became the score in the 16th minute when Pietro Lermo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mino Arias in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milio Tormes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrés-Fernando Rivas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Emilio Baeza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrés-Fernando Rivas scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Baeza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Mino Arias came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Piera UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mino Arias couldn't finish the play. Eguzki Benítez charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eguzki Benítez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eguzki Benítez hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Pietro Lermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milio Tormes having to interfere. The Piera UD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Baeza should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Pietro Lermo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 73rd minute Andrés-Fernando Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Baeza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrés-Fernando Rivas took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Baeza. Emilio Baeza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Xandro Sainz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. After 81 played minutes Piera UD got a freekick which was hit by Xandro Sainz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrés-Fernando Rivas in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Baeza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Piera UD's Mino Arias got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Asnefas FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
