With an all-out effort, Aristegui's Bernardo Estruch threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adelio Ricoy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anxo Navarro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Dionisio Sainz's late challenge caught a Arbanies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dionisio Sainz helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Tabor Mangas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arbanies's supporters rose to their feet, but Tabor Mangas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartolomé Alacuart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Aristegui's Hegoi Pascual slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardo Estruch. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domenech Saboya got free with Bernardo Estruch in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Arbanies getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Tabor Mangas hit a great ball. Plauto España scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartolomé Alacuart, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Estruch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepillo Gutierrez in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arbanies's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Natanael Valcarcel was slow to take the kick. During this time Aristegui's players had a chance to rest.

In the 56th minute, Tabor Mangas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Aristegui's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Belisario Mora fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Belisario Mora fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arbanies's protests and gave Belisario Mora a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hegoi Pascual in the 62nd minute of play forced Arbanies's goalkeeper Bernardo Estruch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Estruch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hegoi Pascual in the 69th minute of the match.
