In the 12th minute, Andoni Mendez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lechuguitas F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Lechuguitas F.C.'s Anacleto Rossello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Sánchez in the 21st minute of play. Anacleto Rossello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Valerón, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Anacleto Rossello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paco Sánchez was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Lechuguitas F.C.'s Elvis Ruiz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Taurino Huarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Florian Valerón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Anacleto Rossello made a huge save. Anacleto Rossello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paco Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Lechuguitas F.C.'s Andoni Mendez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taurino Huarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 80th match minute, Torre De Calvo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gorosti Casillas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paco Sánchez got free with Anacleto Rossello in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd match minute, Torre De Calvo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batista Ribas to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Andoni Mendez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taurino Huarte. Torre De Calvo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andoni Mendez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1.
