The referee ignored Caials's protests and gave Gabriel Urbina a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Caials's Gabriel Urbina got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Santos Nunez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ixbiliya c.f.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Nunez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caials's Vergaray Alonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Nunez in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Santos Nunez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vergaray Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Castillo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Aureo Vives could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Xulian Domingo however easily saved by the left post. 63 minutes into the game, Aureo Vives cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Xulian Domingo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ixbiliya c.f. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Vergaray Alonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Lano in the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Gavino Lano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ixbiliya c.f.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Lano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despite being the better team, Ixbiliya c.f. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
