Fausto Villalcazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xove Coira in the 21st minute of the match. Sandamias's Eleuterio Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmai Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Dalmai Pardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Iglesias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmai Pardo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Dalmai Pardo fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandamias's protests and gave Dalmai Pardo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Dalmai Pardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Dalmai Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandamias's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmai Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Iglesias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eleuterio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabon Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Fausto Villalcazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Txema Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Fuencaliente De La Palma booed when Sandamias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Valdés didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Eleuterio Marques sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fuencaliente De La Palma's Aquilino Iglesias didn't even have to move. The supporters of Fuencaliente De La Palma booed when Sandamias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eladio Marcilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Xove Coira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Villalcazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Fuencaliente De La Palma's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
